VIMS Multispecialty Hospital, a part of Shri Venkateshwara University, successfully performed a complex surgery.
The VIMS Multispecialty Hospital under Shri Venkateshwara University successfully performed laparoscopic cholecystectomy on a 90-year-old patient.
VIMS surgeons performed this complex surgery on an overage patient who was suffering from gallbladder pain and internal organ dysfunction. Despite being a high-risk case, the patient has recovered well after the surgery.

The old patient was also suffering from gallbladder pain and other complications, making the surgery complex. The patient previously consulted leading hospitals in Meerut and Delhi, who were reluctant to perform surgery because of her old age.
After getting no relief from pain, the patient’s relatives admitted her to VIMS Multispecialty hospital on 11th June, and on 12th June, our team of skilled doctors successfully performed laparoscopic surgery on this 90 years old patient. The patient has recovered well and has been discharged now. Through such achievements, we will make VIMS a centre of excellence.
